B.L.A.V Atletiekbyeenkoms. laerskool Westwood, Boksburg, spog hierdie jaar met 42 atlete en 70 items wat deurgedring het na die B.L.A.V atletiekbyeenkoms. Die byeenkoms het plaasgevind op 20 Februarie by Boksburg stadion.

Agt van Wessies se leerders, met 14 items, het deurgedring na die D6 Atletiekbyeenkoms op 23 Februarie by Germiston Stadion. Hierdie atlete het almal hulle beste gegee. Die skool is super trots op elkeen van die atlete.

Kaelen Joubert dring deur na die Gauteng kampioenskappe op 10 en 11 Maart by Ruimsig Stadion. Kaelen het by die B.L.A.V aan vyf items en by die D6 byeenkoms aan vier items deelgeneem en ‘n eerste plek met ‘n afstand van 4.27m in verspring seuns 0/11 behaal.

B.L.A.V Athletics event

Westwood Primary School, Boksburg, this year boasts 42 athletes and 70 items that made it through to the B.L.A.V athletics event. The event took place on 20 February at Boksburg Stadium.

Eight of Wessies’ pupils, with 14 items, made it through to the D6 Athletics event on February 23 at Germiston Stadium. These athletes all gave their best. The school is super proud of each one of the athletes.

Kaelen Joubert advances to the Gauteng championships on 10 and 11 March at Ruimsig Stadion. Kaelen competed in five events at the B.L.A.V in five events and at the D6 event, taking first place with 4.27m in long jump boys 0/11.
