schoolsthatrockSA Schools Swimming Championship. Three swimmers from Paarl Girls’ High represented the Western Cape at the recent SA Schools Swimming Championships Autumn Games in Gqeberha The three girls, Lika Els, Lily Hebler and Mila Plinsloo pulled out all the stops to make their school proud.
These results show their top 5 achievements:
Lika Els:
- GOLD: 50m backstroke
- GOLD: 200m Individual Medley
- SILVER: 100m backstroke
- SILVER: 100m breaststroke
- BRONZE: 50m freestyle
- BRONZE: 50m backstroke
Lily Hebler:
- BRONZE: 50m backstroke
- BRONZE: 100m backstroke
- BRONZE: 100m medley relay
- BRONZE: 100m freestyle relay
- Lily brought home the most medals for the Western Cape U15 team!
Mila Prinsloo (captain of the Western Cape team):
- 4th PLACE: 100m butterfly
- 4th PLACE: 4x100m freestyle relay
