Hoërskool Nelspruit (NHS) will host a special netball clinic on Saturday August 25, organised by Protea netball coaches in conjunction with the school.
Coaches on the day will include Dumisani Chauke who is the Protea u/19 coach and Protea u/21 assistant coach and was a Protea player herself. Also on the list of coaches is new addition to Hoërskool Nelspruit’s coaching team and previous u/19 and u/23 Protea player Lentsa Motau. Lentsa also qualified for this year’s Protea squad. Tshwane University of Technology’s netball players will be assisting on the day.
The school is expecting 120 players and 14 coaches from various schools in the region: Fundinjobo, Guduza, Khutsalani, Valencia Combined, Njeyeza, Idlangamabala, Suikerland, Khula, Mashishing, Mjokwane, Ngodini and Sbula, who will all also enjoy lunch sponsored by McDonald’s and water sponsored by Mr. Neels de Villiers. Hoërskool Nelspruit is proud to also be on board as sponsor and look forward to be hosting fellow schools in the region on its netball courts.
With this initiative, Hoërskool Nelspruit aims to promote netball among schools in the region, contribute to the development of players, coaches and organisers and establish a platform for local schools to network and learn from one another.
The clinic will kick off at 09:00 until 12:30 on Saturday August 25, 2018 after which lunch will be served and games will commence from 13:30 – 16:00. The clinic will be held on Hoërskool Nelspruit’s sport grounds of which the entrance is in Friedenheim Street, Nelspruit.
