Die byeenkoms het op 11 Maart in Stellenbosch plaasgevind. Moderne Vyfkamp bestaan uit Hindernis, Skerm, Swem, Skiet en Hardloop.
Marilie het ‘n goue medalje in die o.17 ouderdomsgroep vir vrouens behaal. Sy is ook gekies om die Wes-Kaap Provinsie in die “2023 South African Modern Pentathlon and Tetrathlon Championships” te verteenwoordig. Hierdie byeenkoms vind plaas in Bloemfontein op 7 en 8 April.
Modern Pentathlon. Marilie Duvenage, learner of Outeniqua High School in George, competed at the 2023 Western Cape Provincial Modern Pentathlon Championships. The event took place on 11 March in Stellenbosch. Modern Pentathlon consists of Obstacle, Screen, Swimming, Shooting and Running.
Marilie won a gold medal in the under-17 age group for women. She was also selected to represent the Western Cape Province in the 2023 South African Modern Pentathlon and Tetrathlon Championships. This event will take place in Bloemfontein on 7 and 8 April.
