schoolsthatrockJunior Sportskiet. Eloise Snyman en Eckhart Meaker is leerders van Bethlehem Voortrekker Hoërskool. Hulle het gedurende 7 tot 8 Oktober aan die SAJWV se Nasionale Junior Sportskiet kampioenskappe (o/16) deelgeneem. Die kampioenskappe was by Sandrivier-58 se Excalibur-skietbaan in Welkom. Eloise en Eckhart het uitstekend presteer en albei het SAJWV Nasionale kleure ontvang.
Op die 20 Augustus het Suzanne Meintjes en Brice Jones aan die SA Jagters se Nationale Skietkompetisie deelgeneem te Bloemfontein. Hulle is trotse lede van Mpungini tak van Kwazulu Natal. Onder sterk kompetisie van regoor die land eindig Suzanne veertiende en Brice sestiende. Dit was vir die dag algeheel en vir die juniors.
Luane Fick skiet tans in NRL, National Rifle league, .22. Sy beklee tans die eerste plek in haar klas op die Nasionale ranglys.
Die finale kompetisie vind in Maart 2023 plaas.
Junior Sport Shooting.
Eloise Snyman and Eckhart Meaker are learners of Bethlehem Voortrekker High School. They competed at the SAJWV National Junior Sport Shooting Championships (u/16) during 7 to 8 October. The championship was at Sand River-58’s Excalibur shooting range in Welkom. Eloise and Eckhart performed excellently and both also received SAJWV National colours.
On the 20 August Suzanne Meintjes and Brice Jones also took part in the SA Hunters’ National Shooting Competition in Bloemfontein. They are also proud members of Mpungini branch of Kwazulu Natal. Under strong competition from across the country, Suzanne finished fourteenth and Brice sixteenth. It was for the day overall and for the juniors.
Luane Fick is also currently shooting in NRL, National Rifle league, .22. She currently ranks first in her class in the National rankings.
The final competition will takes place in March 2023.
