Inter: Grey College/PRG. Ruan Pienaar (Old Grey 2002) visited the boys yesterday during assembly in the Reunie Hall before the Inter: Grey College/PRG.

Currently representing the Toyota Free State Cheetahs, Ruan also played for Grey XV, the Sharks, Ulster, Montpellier and the Springboks. As inspiration for the boys going to Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch on their last interschool this year, Pienaar highlighted two words: EXPECTATION and TIME. “When you get on the bus on your way to Paul Roos, go with an expectation.” He went on to quote, “Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it”.

Pienaar urged the boys to use their time effectively this weekend – to give maximum effort on the playfield, to respect others and, most of all, to make new friends.
