Said Visagie, “I can’t believe that we are heading towards the end of 2019. I also can’t  believe that I have been part of this community for 20 years. I still remember my first Finale under the leadership of Mr Seagall, and all I thought was… wow, what a privilege to teach at a school such as this – so different from my own schooling experience.”

“The children of Camps Bay Primary continue to excel in all spheres of school life: in the classroom, in the cultural sphere and on the sports field. This is what makes our school so special.”

Some of the special awards handed out at the function were:

  • Principal’s Award – Lihle Damoyi and Alex Smith
  • Watson Honour Trophy – James Heather-Clarke and Jessica Visagie
  • Dedication Trophy – Asia Yarlett and Fergus Tayler
  • Service Trophy – Lelia Starkey and Juliette de Villiers

6th – Asia Yarlett

7th – Noah Michael

8th – Aiden Weiner

9th – Jessica Visagie

10th – George Lampropoulos

Mrs Visagie thanked members of the Camps Bay Primary School SGB for their service.

In closing, Mrs Visage wished the Grade 7s well as they continue their school journey at high school, the majority who continue their schooling at Camps Bay High School.
