Camps Bay Primary School’s Grade 7s have been hard at work making sweet packets to be included in “Love Bags” for the iKhaya Lethemba Outreach Programme in Wellington.
In the third term, all the Grade 7s participated in the school’s Annual Market Day where they are all required to set up a stand and sell their wares. 10% of their takings are donated to charity and they used these proceeds to buy sweets and goodies to fill their bags.
The iKhaya Lethemba Outreach Programme in Wellington is run by Joshua Generation Church and once a year, the church hosts a Christmas Party where the sweet packets made up by the Camps Bay Primary School pupils will be included in their “love bags” to be presented to children at the Christmas Party.
