Camps Bay High School has undertaken to provide vulnerable learners with grocery packs every week for the next few weeks, to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus. The school says it has identified 30 learners. For many of the learners, this would be their only meal of the day. Many parents may also be losing income due to the pandemic. The school’s Kirsten Mobsby, says they aim to provide some relief: “Over the next three weeks, and we’re doing it over three weeks because it’s a lot to carry in one go, and its heavy stuff, so we are going to make these parcels available. They can collect it. Yesterday, we included things like samp, rice, beans, some tins, milk, sugar, etc. Hopefully next week we can include a couple of toiletries.”
Thank you Camps Bay High!
