Aliwal North High School attend RYLA Camp

The RYLA camp was an amazing opportunity for tomorrow’s leaders. RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.  It was very insightful and it focussed mainly on teamwork and leadership skills. It taught the learners how important it is to build each other up instead of tearing each other down. They realised that they are the future of our nation and that it is imperative for us to learn how to be good leaders. Being part of the Rotary Interact club means that we serve others and by doing so we help to improve their lives. Learners from other provinces also attended and life-long friends were made. The practical activities were centred on developing communication skills.
