York Hockey Festival. Fairmont High School – Hockey Highlights.
Fairmont High School teams have once again showcased their talent and determination with strong performances at both the York Hockey Festival and the Belgotex U16 Co-Ed Challenge.
Friday delivered a series of standout results:
- U16A Boys secured a confident 3–0 victory over Upington.
- U16A Girls impressed with a commanding 8–1 win against Langenhoven Gim.
- 1st Team Girls were in exceptional form, recording dominant wins of 7–0 against Outeniqua and 12–0 over Glenwood House.
- 1st Team Boys fought hard in a tightly contested match, finishing with a 1–1 draw against Glenwood House.
On Saturday, the momentum continued:
- 1st Team Boys claimed a convincing 5–1 win over St Dominics.
- 1st Team Girls maintained their fine form with a 3–0 victory against St Dominics.
Both our 1st Team Boys and Girls return to the field this evening to face York, and the school wishes them every success in their upcoming matches.
Fairmont High School is incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and spirit shown by all its players. Their performances reflect not only skill and dedication, but also the pride of representing Fairmont High School.
