Western Cape Athletics Championships. Paul Roos Gymnasium U16 athletes represented Boland at the Western Cape Athletics Championships in Paarl on 15 and 16 March.

PRG athletes performed as follows:

Nathan Sander won two gold medals for boys U19 shotput (PB) and discus
Luke van der Merwe won gold (Boys U19 high jump, equalled PB) and silver (Boys U19 triple jump)
Harrison Gibson also won gold for Boys U17 high jump
Marcus Viljoen (Boys U17 110m hurdles) won silver
Musahdiq Cornelson (Boys U17 long jump) won silver
Kean du Toit (Boys U17 pole vault) won silver

The podium places were rounded out by:

Nathan Barnard (Boys U15 shotput)
Jeandré Cilliers (Boys U17 pole vault)

PRG athletes Joey Calitz, Ethan Badenhuizen, Luc Botha, Jean Volschenk, Zak Hickman, AJ Krynauw, Wayden Julies and Owen Volschenk also represented Boland during the Championship.
