All Blacks Dance Competition. Victoria-Anne Robinson-Monteiro is a learner from St Andrew’s School for Girls. She took part in the All Blacks dance competition in Bloemfontein where she came 3rd in Slow Dance. She also came 2nd in Freestyle and Disco Freestyle and 1st in Disco Slow and Disco Solo.
At the South African Dance Teachers’ Association’s provincial and national prestige awards, Victoria-Anne was awarded Gauteng Colours. She was awarded Colours for Slow Dance Solo, Disco Dance Solo, Disco Slow Dance, Disco Dance Freestyle and Disco Dance Duo. She also received National Colours for Disco Dance Freestyle and Disco Dance Duo.
Victoria-Anne was selected by the South African Dance Teachers’ Association to compete at the World Championship in Blackpool, UK. There she will compete for Freestyle and Slow Dance in the Premier Championship. There she automatically qualifies to dance Freestyle Couples. Victoria-Anne was further selected to compete in the Czech Republic at the Disco World Championships in the Disco Slow category. She was also invited to compete in Germany at the Disco World Championships in the Disco Solo, Disco Duo and Disco Freestyle categories.
