schoolsthatrockIt’s been a decade since Mr Barend van der Westhuizen’s very first revue at Tygerberg High School! Nearly 600 young performers have been part of this wonderful journey. The core principle of Tygerberg High School’s revues is to give all students an opportunity to find a place in our huge cultural family.
It was a pleasure to remember each and every original performer of this year’s programme and it was exciting to watch the new performers taking the songs and making it their own. 120 Learners and 25 teachers were part of FLASHBACK 2019.
Tygerberg was also fortunate to have two of the 2011 performers returning to reprise their rendition of ‘I know him so well’. Mr Van der Westhuizen once again directed, choreographed, took charge of the music and performed with the learners.
Here at Tygerberg we are extremely proud of this year’s product and we look forward to 2020’s revue.
