schoolsthatrockAt the end of last term, five of Pietermaritzburg’s St John’s D.S.G. girls toured with Seals Swimming Club to Florida for a four-week swimming trip.
All of these girls swam some great personal best times and won some medals:
• Emily Martens won 5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.
• Milla Drakopolous (who was sick with bronchitis) won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
• Jessica Meter won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
• Paige Forster won 4 gold and 1 silver.
• Emma Kuhn won 9 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Emily, Milla, Jessica and Emma swam the 200m freestyle relay and 200m Inter-medley relay together and won gold in both relays and Emma and Paige were the Age Group Winners in their age categories. Well done to all these girls!
