Science. Five learners from Curro Durbanville High School have been selected to represent the Stellenbosch Region at the International Science Fair (ISF):
- Matthew Witbooy (Grade 11) – “The soil quality in the rural areas of South Africa” in the category Biomedical and Medical Sciences.
- Maria Inggs (Grade 10) – “Daily Timetable App” in the category Computer Sciences and Software Development.
- Ben van der Westhuizen & Sebastian van der Wolf (Grade 11) – “What blade angle creates the best overall output?” in the category Energy.
- Paige Pope (Grade 11) – “Colouring in as a tool to monitor cognitive decline in a dementia patient” in the category Social Sciences.
The ISF will be held from 6 –to 9 December 2022 at Birchwood Conference Centre, Boksburg.
