SA Open Karate Championships. Wynberg Girls’ High School – Champion in the Making: Kate Dinan’s Winning Streak Continues.
Nope, it’s not déjà vu — Kate Dinan is just unstoppable.
This past weekend, Kate made headlines once again by clinching a silver medal in kata and gold in kumite at the SA Open Karate Championships. Standing beside her dojo teammate Haniem Nash, who earned a bronze for kata, the duo is quite literally kicking their way to the top.
As if that weren’t enough, Kate was also honoured at the Protea Awards on Saturday night — a well-deserved recognition of her excellence on the national stage and unwavering dedication to her sport.
At this point, we’re not sure what’s more impressive: Kate’s growing medal collection, or her mom’s talent for finding just a little more shelf space.
Wynberg Girls couldn’t be prouder. Keep soaring, Kate — you’re a true powerhouse!
