schoolsthatrockSA Hengel Kampioenskap. Twee van Erries se leerders, DW du Plessis en Juandré Kruger, het vanaf 10 tot 15 Desember 2022 die Noord-Oos Mpumalanga se o.19B-span by die SA Nasionale Hengel-Kampioenskap te Bloemhofdam verteenwoordig.
Hierdie span het derde geëindig in die toernooi. Hulle het ‘n totaal van 204 visse inkatrol in met ‘n gekombineerde gewig van 226.24kg. Spesiale vermelding is ook gemaak van Juandré Kruger wat spog met ‘n kurper van 940g.
Mnr. Henk Potgieter, spanorganiseerder, was baie beïndruk met die Erries se gedrag.
Hoërskool Ermelo is baie trots op hul Errie-hengelaars. Veral vir die wyse waarop hul hulself as Erries handhaaf en die skool trots maak met uitsonderlike prestasies langs die viswaters.
SA Fishing Championship. Two Erries, DW du Plessis and Juandré Kruger, represented the North East Mpumalanga U19B team at the South African National Angling Championships at Bloemhof Dam from 10 to 15 December 2022.
This team also finished third in the tournament. They also catapulted a total of 204 fish in with a combined weight of 226.24kg. Special mention was also made of Juandré Kruger who boasts a 940g corper.
Mr Henk Potgieter, team organiser, was also very impressed with the Erries’ behaviour.
Ermelo High School is also very proud of their Errie anglers. Especially for the way they maintain themselves as Erries and make the school proud with exceptional achievements along the fishing waters.
