Queen’s College, Taunton
Rudi attended Queen’s College in Taunton for 7 weeks in 2016. He played for their 1st team and was named top batsman of Queen’s College, scoring 532 runs in 11 games at an average of 66.5. This earned him the 19th spot in England for schoolboy averages in 2016 (His name was published in the Wisden Cricketer’s’ Almanac of 2017 – this is the cricket “Bible”, including all cricket matches played in England the previous year).
He also received an award at Lord’s for outstanding achievement in MCC schoolboy cricket for his score of 105* against MCC. 270 schools competed against the MCC in 2016, of which 25 players scored a century or took 5 wickets.

Rudi was captain of a very successful Boland u/17A team in 2017 and also captained the Boland u/18 Invitational team to Namibia.
In 2018 he was selected for the u/18 National T20 All Star Team (one player from each school which played in the T20 finals countrywide).
Recently, Rudi was selected for the Boland u/19 team that will play in the Coca Cola Khaya Majola week in December 2018 and the SA u/19 coach invited Rudi to attend their training session at Newlands.
