Rhythmic Gymnastics – Yulia Galukhin attended African Championships

Rhythmic Gymnastics. Yulia Galukhin, learner from Edgemead High School in Cape Town, attended the 16th African Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. It was held in Cairo, Egypt. She was representing South Africa as a Senior Olympic Gymnast. Yulia placed 3rd overall in the all around qualifications. She also made it into 3 apparatus finals where she also won a bronze medal.

Yulia was also the top gymnast amongst the SA gymnasts. She qualified for the World Championships in September set to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
