schoolsthatrockPowerlifting. Janko Kruger, Grey College, recently won gold in powerlifting. He was placed 1st in the u83kg Men’s Sub Junior division at the 2022 Unequipped Powerlifting Championships in Fochville.
Janco won with a total of 607,5kg with the following lifts:
- Squat 215kg
- Bench press 142,5kg
- Deadlift 250kg
Janko won his division by a massive margin of almost 100kg. He was also placed 1st as the Overall Sub Junior Lifter in South Africa. He has officially qualified for his National Colours and is now the 2022 u83kg Sub Junior SA Campion!
Janko has been selected for the South Africa Powerlifting team. He will represent SA at the IPF Classic Sub Junior and Junior World Championships. The championship will be held in Ecuador later this year.
