The annual Metropolitan of Point High School in Mossel Bay, took place on Friday 25 January.
As in the past the grade 8 girls had to design and make their own āMetropolitan hatsā with which they had to parade in front of a panel of judges, teachers, parents and the rest of the school.
There were very interesting designs and the judges had a tough time in deciding on the winners! The grade 8 boys had to make āhorsesā and took part in an obstacle race.
They had to jump over the obstacles and also ran on a slippery slide! Most of these boys lost their balance on the slippery track and delighted the audience with their comical manoeuvres.
This was, as always, an outstanding event on the social calendar of Point High School.
The parents attended this event in large numbers.
