The Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School Class of 2017 has achieved outstanding results in the NSC Examination.
A culmination of five years of excellent teaching and hard work resulted in a 99.55% (224/225) pass rate with 98.21% (220/225) of its girls receiving a Bachelors Pass and 1.78% (4/225) receiving a Diploma Pass. A total of 514 subject distinctions were obtained; two learners obtained eight distinctions, three learners obtained seven distinctions, 13 learners obtained six distinctions, 13 learners obtained five distinctions and 13 learners obtained four distinctions.
