Our girls benefit from a team of highly qualified and hardworking staff who enjoy working with the youth. The excellent relationships between learners and teachers provide an ethos that effectively supports and encourages learning, which is also reflected in the consistently high results achieved in the final matriculation examination each year. A recent example of this is the excellent results attained by the 2019 matriculants – a 100% matric pass rate. In a class of 104 matriculants there were 97% Bachelor Passes, 23 A-aggregates and 12 pupils who achieved 7 distinctions. The work ethic of our brilliant teachers is commendable and a privilege and they will support each learner to pursue her own dreams regarding academic results.
Die ontwikkeling en verbetering van elke leerder se eie talent en potensiaal is vir ons belangrik met die uiteindelike doelwit dat sy verantwoordelik en verantwoordbaar sal wees. Binne die skool heers daar ook ‘n atmosfeer waar elke leerder as persoon raakgesien word en waar die meisies opreg deernis en omgee vir mekaar toon. Die jong volwasse dames wat hierdie skool aan die einde van matriek verlaat het reeds uitstaande prestasies op akademiese, kulturele en sportterrein behaal en hulle is toegerus en het die nodige selfvertroue om van hul naskoolse lewe ‘n algehele sukses te maak.
Die HMS Paarl is 144 jaar oud en ons is trots op ons geskiedenis wat ‘n fondament skep vir elke leerder se toekoms in ‘n wêreld vol heerlike uitdagings.
