schoolsthatrockPaarl Boys’ High Debating. The debating season for 2022 kicked off with a friendly debate, Paarl Boys’ High against Paul Roos Gymnasium.
The motion was THBT (This House believes that) the internet is a public utility. Paarl Boys’ High senior team was the proposition team and won the debate. Sebastian Meyer was the best speaker. Teammates Nico Smit and Zack du Toit were first and second speakers, respectively. Coach Danré used the opportunity to teach some of the younger debaters, amongst whom were brand new Grade 8s.
