“Order of the Blue Blazer” Award – Paarl Boys High

At the celebration of Paarl Boys’ High’s Founders Day 2017 marking the school’s 149th year of existence, Messrs Rinus van der Sluys and Tjaart van der Walt were both awarded the “Order of the Blue Blazer”, the greatest honour that Paarl Boys’ High can bestow on an individual or group. Mr van der Sluys was honoured for years of service to the Boys’ High family and Mr van der Walt for his unselfish sacrifice of donating a kidney to his fellow classmate and dear friend.
