New Leadership appointment Curro. Curro Holdings is delighted to announce the appointment of Jaco Olivier as the new head of Curro Durbanville High School. The appointment is effective 1 July 2022.
For some time now, Mr. Jaco Olivier has been part of the JSE-listed independent school group. He is also well-versed in the values and levels of excellence that Curro offers. During the last five years, he has been the academic head of Curro Durbanville. Most recently he also assisted with an ambitious project to expand the school’s original grounds. It resulted in the opening of a brand new 9 800 sq², contemporary campus in Groot Phesantekraal in January 2022. Prior to that, he was the executive head of Curro Mossel Bay for over two years.
Local to Cape Town, Mr Olivier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Life Management and Biological Human Sciences – Biochemistry from the University of Stellenbosch. He is also well known, and well liked amongst learners and parents alike. Mr Olivier is most looking forward to continuing to develop structures. He is also looking forward to implement plans to allow for ongoing growth at this flagship school.
Critical management role
