New Executive Head. Curro Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Choveaux as the new Executive Head for Curro Thatchfield in Centurion, Pretoria. With an extensive background in educational leadership and a passion for fostering excellence amongst learners, Justin brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Prior to joining Curro, Justin served as the Executive Head of Schools at Pinnacle College in Linden. There he demonstrated exceptional leadership since opening the high school in 2020. His previous roles include Senior Deputy Head at Southdowns College in Centurion. He also was Director of Sport at HeronBridge College in Johannesburg. Justin’s diverse experience equips him well to lead Curro Thatchfield’s four separate schools on one campus. He will be catering to learners from pre-school through Grade 12, as well as the National Certificate Vocational (NVC) College that offers vocational training.
Incredible footprints of success
Commenting on his appointment, Justin expressed his excitement, stating, “Curro has made and will continue to make incredible footprints of success within the educational field. Not only in South Africa but throughout the continent. I am honoured to align with a group dedicated to delivering exceptional education and empowering future generations.”
Justin is particularly excited to work in an environment where child-friendliness, care and inclusivity are integral to fostering academic excellence and critical thinking skills. He is looking forward to being a custodian of the school, ensuring that every learner thrives and enjoys their educational journey.

In his new role, Justin aims to effectively manage and develop the four school campuses. He will provide a nurturing environment where learners can flourish both academically and personally. His vision includes combining the campuses to create one effective unit while supporting the growth and development of both students and staff.
