schoolsthatrockMuurbal. Joël Rix, ‘n Graad 8 leerder van Hoërskool Witteberg, Bethlehem, beklee tans die 1ste plek in Suid-Afrika vir seuns o.16 Muurbal. Rix het vanaf 14 tot 16 Oktober aan die Potchefstroom Toernooi deelgeneem. Hy was saam met sy Vrystaat A-span en stap as wenners van die toernooi weg.
Joël het ook die Technifibre Muurbal toernooi gewen en eindig algeheel 1ste in die Vrystaat. Hy is ook onlangs op Hoërskool Witteberg se prysuitdeling aangewys as die Top Buitesport presteerder vir 2022!
Squash. Joel Rix, a Grade 8 learner from Witteberg High School, Bethlehem, currently ranks 1st in South Africa for boys u.16 Squash. Rix participated in the Potchefstroom Tournament from 14 to 16 October. He was with his Free State A team and walked away as winners of the tournament.
Joel also won the Technifibre Squash tournament and finished 1st overall in the Free State. He was also recently named the Top Outdoor Sports Achiever for 2022 at Witteberg High School’s awards ceremony!
