schoolsthatrockMarcus Esterhuyse took part in the World Waveski Surfing Titles in Spain, in September. I can confirm that Marcus have been awarded national colours, after satisfying the selection criteria.
Marcus was very unlucky not to make the final in his age division (cadets) and had to be happy with a 5th place. He managed to get a 33rd place in the open division, out of 139 competitors and was the highest placed junior in this division.
Marcus was also selected to represent South Africa as a member of the national tag team, which achieved a 4th place overall.
