Sy het Dinsdag die o.16-enkelspel-titel op die Junior Nasionale Tennis Toernooi in Bloemfontein opgeraap. Donna het al vyf haar wedstryde, insluitende die eindstryd (6-1, 6-4), in skoon stelle gewen. Die 15-jarige Donna (graad 10) was in 2022 die o.16-naaswenner en in 2021 die o.14-kampioen. Sy het Dinsdagmiddag ook die o.16-dubbelspelkroon verower.
By dieselfde toernooi het Oranje-leerders, Nina Schimper (o.18) en Cara le Grange (o.14) albei sesde in hul ouderdomsgroepe geëindig.

Junior National Tennis Tournament. Donna le Roux, learner of Hoër Meisieskool Oranje, is again the country’s best tennis player in her age group, as two years ago.
She claimed the under-16 singles title at the Junior National Tennis Tournament in Bloemfontein on Tuesday. Donna also won all five of her matches, including the final (6-1, 6-4), in clean sets. The 15-year-old Donna (Grade 10) was also the under-16 runner-up in 2022 and the under-14 champion in 2021. She also won the under-16 doubles crown Tuesday afternoon.
At the same tournament, Oranje learners, Nina Schimper (u.18) and Cara le Grange (u.14) both finished sixth in their age groups.
