Modern Pentathlon – Unice learner wins National Championships

Modern Pentathlon. Mika-Leigh Strydom, learner of Eunice High School in Bloemfontein, won the Girls U15 South African National Championships for Modern Pentathlon. The championship was held in Bloemfontein this past Friday and Saturday.

Not only did Mika-Leigh win her age group, but she also scored the most points of all the female athletes at the SA’s and second highest overall in South Africa.

The elements included in the modern Pentathlon are:

  • Fencing
  • Obstacle Course
  • Swimming
  • Shooting
  • Running
