Junior Adventure Racing. Treverton Students Selected for Junior Adventure Racing World Championship in Canada.
Treverton College is proud to announce that Jayden Davis (Grade 12) and Jason Reineke (Grade 11) have been selected to represent South Africa at the first-ever Junior Adventure Racing World Championship in Canada later this year.
As part of their preparation, the duo will take on the EXP Africa Lite, a grueling 200 km adventure race starting this Sunday. The event includes:
- 9 km hike/run
- 40 km mountain bike
- 30 km paddle
- 80 km mountain bike
- 54 km hike
- Rope sections and self-navigation using only a map and compass
The race begins at Mountain Splendour Resort and finishes at Alpine Heath, testing endurance, resilience, and teamwork at every stage.
