Honours are awarded to St Charles College boys in the Upper School who excel and meet criteria in Academics, Culture, Sport or Service. The most recent Honours blazer was handed out in the fourth term to one of our top cricketers, matriculant Keegan Crawford. As there are no assemblies during lockdown, some of our school management, sports department, Saints cricketers and our 2021 1st XI squad gathered in the cricket centre to acknowledge Keegan.
1st XI coach, Mr Murray Cole-Edwardes recollected the amazing journey and growth Keegan has enjoyed and our Principal, Mr Allen van Blerk, along with Keegan’s long-standing coach, Mr Lucky Dladla, handed over the Honours blazer. Also, on hand to congratulate Keegan was our Cricket Specialist, Mr Morne van Wyk and Director of Sport, Mr Rowan Irons.
Keegan will represent the Dolphins U19 team at Cubs Week in Stellenbosch in January – we wish him all the best! – Mr Rowan Irons (Director of Sport)
