Head Boy 2025. This year, schoolsthatrock is once again talking to the Head Leaders of High Schools in South Africa. Today we talk to Sammy Ramsammy, Head Boy 2025 of Roodepoort High School, Gauteng.
“The things I am looking forward being the Head Boy 2025 of Roodepoort High School, is to be a better leader and person and Inspiring others to work hard to achieve their goals. Also having good bonding time with my prefect group and my Matric group as I’m going to miss them! My goals for my school this year is creating a safe and welcoming environment.
My personal goals for my leadership year is to be an inspiration to other learners and to serve my purpose and leadership to the best of my ability. I also want to lead our school to get better every single day.
Qualities of Roodepoort High School
The qualities of Roodepoort High School that mostly stand out to me is respect, unity and dedication!
Adjustments or changes that I would like to see happen at our school is to achieve 100% pass rate and to maintain our high pride and respect we have as the best school in the West Rand. Furthermore for us to be one of the top schools in the country!
I will persuade someone to make Roodepoort High School their choice of school by telling them about our sport, culture, academics and discipline we have. I will also tell them how we can help shape their future and be the best stepping stone they need to succeed!
Getting collaboration (commitment) from my team? I communicate our goals and what is needed from all of us to succeed and accomplish our goals.
Strongest leadership trait
My strongest leadership trait is communication and respect.
The person I look up to most is Jay Shetty. He teaches us how to be the best version of yourself and never forget to be grateful.
My favourite dish is Pizza and Turkish food.
I mostly day dream about my future.
About my future career? I have many options now but definitely my goal for my university is Wits or UP.
