Jo-handri Burger, grade 12 learner from Worcester Gymnasium completes the Bronze section of the President’s awards programme. She participates in ballroom dancing and hockey for her minimum of 12 hours of Physical Recreation. As skills, she takes singing lessons and performs at various events. She also plays chess.
For the Service section, she lends a hand to various causes, but particularly enjoyed the farm outreach and painting a wall at a local hospital. The service she delivered amounted to 24 hours.
To top it off, she completes her Adventurous Journey by completing a 24km hike over two days.
