schoolsthatrockGrant Kennard from Glenwood High school in Durban, competed at the Gauteng Senior Championship Rowing Regatta at Roodeplaat Dam this past weekend.
45 rowers participated in his category, racing in heats over 2000 metres. In his heat he raced against 7 other rowers, coming second, which meant he was through to the finals where he came third overall.
At the end of the month Grant will be competing at the South African National Championships.
