The Security Hyperstore KZN Bisley Schools Interschools Competition, hosted by Glenwood High School, took place at Westwood Mall on 3 and 4 August, with the gala dinner held in the school hall on Saturday evening. Despite our captain, Thomas Rossouw, not being present as he is representing the South African School SANSSU BJI 2018 touring team that is competing in the United Kingdom, and which he is also the captain of, the Glenwood Target Shooting Team did very well.
Glenwood teams placed first for Springer U21, Sporter U16 and overall Springer, with several rifle and pistol individuals also doing very well. Glenwood placed second overall for the competition, with 19 of the shooters making the KZN Bisley Schools Team that will compete at the SA Competition in Newcastle in October.
The Glenwood shooters that made the team are Thomas Rossouw, Dawson Ellis, Larissa de Velance, Jason Chapman, Kian Naidoo, Diago Barco, James Snell, Corwin Quail, Jared Moodley, Arabella Barco, Bavinash Govender, Joshua Strydom, Hayden Heyns, Kaylan Karien, Luay Wernich, Charlton Erwee, Max-Reece van der Merwe, Matthew Blignaut and Clayton Charles.
