schoolsthatrockThe Glenwood first team played their final winter league game against Michealhouse on Saturday, 1 September at Clifton.
The game started slowly with both sides missing a lot of opportunities on attack through poor shooting. The Glenwood side worked hard to come back on every defence ensuring we always defended with all 6 perimeter players, forcing Michealhouse to shoot from the outside.
Our fitness started to show in the last quarter of the game when some good counter attacking and superb shooting from Daniel Messitter-Tooze saw us pull ahead by 4 goals. The game finished 7-2 in favour of Glenwood.
