Eunice High Grade 8s. Eunice High grade 8’s had a busy first week at school. The orientation programme was filled with loads of information, but also a lot of fun! Making friends, building connections and learning more about yourself and Eunice, is what it’s all about.
The Eunice Grade 8s definitely learning a lot, but in a fun and interesting way. Some topics discussed this week were:
- Discipline, respect and accountability.
- Expectations at high school and etiquette.
The girls also met their sport and cultural coordinators, their teachers as well as the counsellors at school.
A physical skills assessment was also conducted yesterday, by Mr Jaco Kotze and his facilitators from The Sports Performance Clinic.
The girls shared in doing some ice-breakers, hostel fun, spirit building, competed in the long-distance gala and had a wonderful Mentor-Mentee activity with a walking trail and picnic at the Botanical Gardens today.
Next week Eunice Grade 8’s can look forward to the Interhouse Gala as well as the Interhouse Athletics and some great topics that will be discussed during orientation.
