Commonwealth Youth Games. Hoërskool Durbanville se leerders het vanjaar reeds puik prestasies op die sportveld behaal. Hierdie prestasie is egter baie spesiaal. Hoërskool Durbanville spog vanjaar met twee leerders, Amoné Wessels en James Nero wat vir SA spanne gekies. Hierdie twee leerders is oppad na die Commonwealth Youth Games. Die spele vind plaas vanaf 4 tot 11 Augustus.
Meer as 1000 atlete en para atlete neem vanjaar aan die spele deel. Dit word in Port of Spain, Trinidad en Tobago aangebied.
Amoné Wessels (SA Netbal Fast Five) en James Nero (SA Rugby 7’s) gaan Hoërskool Durbanville en Suid-Afrika se naam hoog hou in Trinidad en Tobago.
Commonwealth Youth Games. With several great achievements by the learners of Durbanville High School already on the sports field this year, this achievement is very special. Durbanville High School this year boasts two learners, Amoné Wessels and James Nero who have chosen for SA teams. These two learners are heading to the Commonwealth Youth Games. The games will take place from 4 to 11 August.
More than 1000 athletes and para-athletes are participating in the games held in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago this year.
Amoné Wessels (SA Netball Fast Five) and James Nero (SA Rugby 7s) will be holding Durbanville High School and South Africa’s name high in Trinidad and Tobago.
