’n Hoogtepunt van die naweek was dat Leané Badenhorst aangewys is as speler van die toernooi, ’n besondere prestasie wat haar talent en toewyding beklemtoon.

What a thoroughly enjoyable tournament — impeccably hosted and impeccably planned from whistle to whistle.
I was present only for the girls’ section, but what a showcase it was. The skill level and competitive spirit across all teams made every match compelling.
One standout performance that hasn’t received its fair share of attention is the JF goalkeeper. She may not have been peppered with action in open play, but when it mattered most — especially in the five games decided by nail-biting 8-second shootouts — she was an absolute fortress. Time and again she denied attackers with the kind of composure and reflexes that change the course of a campaign.
