Camps Bay High School continues to build on its legacy every year with more and more second or even third generation pupils attending the school.

At this year’s Matric Valedictory Service, a total of 16 current Matric Students were recognized as second generation Camps Bay Students, with one or both of their parents having attended the school. Said Cara Kahn, head of the Camps Bay Past Pupils Union, “It is heartening to see so many of our past pupils choosing Camps Bay as the school for their own children.  We believe that this is because Camps Bay has always been a community school and all about family!”

At the 2019 Matric Valedictory Service, all Matric Students were given a 2019 Alumni pin which welcomed them officially into the Camps Bay Past Pupils Union.  The pin will give 2019 Alumni students some special benefits when they return to the school.

Those Matric pupils who had parents who attended the school handed these over to their children at the Valedictory Service. 2019 Matric students who had parents who attended the school were:

Jade Atkins: father, Russell Atkins, from the Class of 1989, and mother, Heidi Atkins from the Class of 1990
