Brackenfell High School boasts that three of their learners, Chrisna de Beer, Rohan Smith, Marx Meyer and their EGD Teacher, Mr Nieuwoudt performed exceptionally well by achieving first place at the SAICE Bridge Building competition, which was hosted by the South African Institution of Civil Engineering.
Their bridge carried a weight of 337,5 kg and they made history by building a bridge that did not break in the Provincial competition. Well done to Chrisna de Beer, Rohan Smith, Marx Meyer and Mr Nieuwoudt on their superb bridge and teamwork.
