schoolsthatrockPoint High School’s hockey boys and girls played against York High School, George, this past weekend. It was a battle on the astro, but Point’s players did not back down.
Both the U/14 boys and girls teams did very well on the astro, but lost their games to two very strong York sides.
The U/16 A boys and girls played well, but walked away with narrow losses. The first team to win a match was the U/16 B girls who won 1 – 0 against York’s U/16 B side.
The first team girls lost 2 – 1 and the first team boys lost 3 – 2. Both these games were tense and could have gone either way. We were treated to some excellent hockey on both sides.
Then the U/18 B girls won 1 – 0 in a great game.
