ASA Track & Field Championship. Paul Roos Gymnasium, Stellenbosch, shines at the ASA National Track and Field Championship in Potchefstroom.

Paul Roos Gymnasium had eleven athletes representing Boland at the ASA u/16, u/18 and u/20 Championships. The championships was held at the NWU McArthur Athletics Stadium in Potchefstroom. It took place between Thursday, 31 March and Saturday, 2 April.

These athletes qualified to represent Boland by virtue of meeting very stringent qualifying times/distances/heights and shone on the biggest stage in the country.

Joshua Acker (Boys u/18 Shotput) and Reuben van der Merwe (Boys u/16 Javelin) both won silver medals for their respective events. Zak Hickman claimed a bronze medal for Boys u/16 Hammer throw. Handre Nel also won bronze for Boys u/18 Pole-vault.
