St Andrew’s School for Girls, a leading girl’s school in South Africa since 1902, has a proud tradition of academic, cultural and sporting excellence. Our diverse school strives to initiate and contribute towards community-based initiatives and environmental affairs.
Our school enjoys an excellent reputation for the staging of our annual, national netball festival which we are hosting for the 16th consecutive year from 5-8 April 2018. We attract some of the top high schools in the country to our festival. We will have thirty-two first teams (U19s) from both private and government schools coming from six regions in South Africa committed to this event.
This means that we will be hosting approximately 400 girls, 100 officials, 26 scorers, 12 St John’s Ambulance staff and 4 physiotherapists. There is a strong supporter presence as our participants and their families look forward to our festival each year.
