During the last week of term, our Prep boys had an opportunity to compete in our annual Ironman event. Bringing their bikes onto campus is always a highlight and the opportunity to compete or just have some fun brings with it a mixture of emotions. For the boys racing against each other to try win the trophy and a place on the podium, the competition was tough, and it was great to see the boys giving it their very best to the end of the race. For others, it provided an opportunity to complete a tough task, grow confidence in their abilities, to trust their teammates and to also have some fun. It was an event for all our boys, but what truly shone through was the camaraderie and friendships as they raced against each other, laughed together, celebrated together, commiserated together as they all strived to achieve personal milestones.
“Well done to all our boys on a great day. Thank you for being who you are, we are very proud of you.” Mr Gregg Cole-Edwardes (Head of Prep Sport)
