Hokkie-nuus van uitspele. 🏑 Hoërskool De Aar se hokkiespanne sluit die seisoen af met glans en glorie.
Hoërskool De Aar (HSDA) se o.19A- en o.19B-spanne hul staal gewys tydens die semi-finale en finale uitspele in Kimberley. Hierdie meisies het beslis nie teleurgestel nie!
🔹 o.19B-span: Vasberade en volhouend. Na ’n taai stryd in die semi-finaal teen Hoërskool Kalahari, waar hulle met 1–2 verloor het, het die span hul fokus behou en in die 3de/4de-posisiewedstryd teen Curro Kathu met 2–1 geseëvier. Hierdie oorwinning verseker vir hulle ’n trotse derde plek in die liga — ’n prestasie wat hul toewyding en spanwerk weerspieël.
🔹 o.19A-span: Kampioene van karakter. Die eerstespan het hul semi-finaal teen Curro Kathu met ’n gelykop telling van 2–2 afgesluit. Daarna het hulle in ’n spanningsvolle uitskietstryd as wenners uitgestap het. In die eindstryd het hulle teen Hoërskool Kalahari te staan gekom in ’n ware naelbytwedstryd. Met ’n 1–0 oorwinning het hulle die liga-titel vir 2025 ingepalm! Hierdie oorwinning beteken dat HSDA vir die tweede agtereenvolgende jaar die beker huis-toe bring — ’n ongelooflike prestasie wat hul plek as streekskampioene bevestig.
🎉 ’n Seisoen om te onthou Die 2025-hokkieseisoen was gevul met opwinding, groei en triomf. Elke speler het hul hart op die veld gelê, en die resultate spreek boekdele. HSDA se hokkie-afrigters en ondersteuners kan met reg trots wees op hierdie merkwaardige groep jong sportlui.
“Ons spelers het nie net wedstryde gewen nie — hulle het karakter, deursettingsvermoë en sportmanskap ten toon gestel,” sê ’n woordvoerder van die skool.
🏑 HSDA Hockey Ends the Season on a High Note!
Hoërskool De Aar (HSDA)’s U.19A and U.19B hockey teams showcased their talent and determination during the semi-finals and finals held in Kimberley — and they certainly made their mark!
🔹 U.19B Team: Grit and Growth. After a hard-fought semi-final against Hoërskool Kalahari, which ended in a narrow 1–2 loss, the team also regrouped and came back strong in the 3rd/4th place playoff. Facing Curro Kathu, they clinched a 2–1 victory, securing a well-deserved third place in the league. This is also a testament to their resilience and teamwork.
🔹 U.19A Team: Champions of Character. The first team also battled Curro Kathu in a nail-biting semi-final that ended 2–2 at full time. In a tense shootout, HSDA emerged victorious, earning a spot in the final against Hoërskool Kalahari. The final was a thriller, with HSDA claiming a 1–0 win and walking away as the 2025 league champions! Even more impressively, this marks the second consecutive year that they’ve brought the trophy home! 🏆
🎉 A Season to Remember: The 2025 hockey season was filled with excitement, growth, and triumph. Every player undoubtedly gave their all on the field, and the results speak volumes. Coaches, families, and supporters can moreover be incredibly proud of this remarkable group of young athletes.
