The scenic grounds of Kearsney College will come alive this Thursday as the third annual Kearsney Soccer Tournament kicks off, welcoming 36 school teams and nearly 600 young soccer players from across South Africa and Botswana. Over three action-packed days, the event will showcase rising soccer talent, fierce competition, and the spirit of youth sportsmanship.
A Diverse Line-Up of Talent
This year’s tournament features:
- 16 boys’ high school teams
- 8 girls’ high school teams
- 12 primary school teams
Returning champions include:
- Pinetown Boys’ High (Senior Boys)
- St Mary’s DSG (Senior Girls)
- Merchiston Prep (Junior Boys)

KwaZulu-Natal High Schools: Durban High School, Glenwood High, Clifton College, Ashton Ballito, Grace College, Maqhutshana Secondary, Siyajabula High, Queensburgh High, and hosts Kearsney College.
National & International Teams:
